You couldn't believe this. Honestly! You expected this from Alfred, Gilbert, Feliciano- even Antonio! But out of everyone that it could have been, it just had to be Kiku that was holed up in his house doing who-knows-what? Shaking your wrist to slide your watch down and check the time, you tapped your foot even more and knocked again. Honestly, you knew he was home! You could hear him yelling for Pete's sake! Why he was yelling was still a mystery, but you were more concerned at the fact that Kiku, the human robot, was yelling.

Exasperated, you threw your arms up and looked at the sky, 'Someone help me, please and thank you!' Letting your arms grow limp and your shoulders sag, you pressed the heels of your palms into your closed eyes and groaned. Huffing, you dropped your arms and blinked repeatedly against the black spot that danced in your vision. You were not going to be deterred!

Summoning your inner ninja (you were pretty badass), you backed up a few steps. Getting in a running position with your knees bent and arms loose, you proceeded to run at the door and give a kick. Really, you were expecting that to work, not get a sore butt from falling and a bruised ego thanks to the audience you gathered from your pained groans. One of the little kids that was a neighbor of Kiku's ran up the walk to the door and turned the door handle, opening it. Not sparing you a glance, the little girl jumped over your prone body and, pigtails swinging, skipped back over to her dad.

Gaping, you kind of... lied there for a while as everyone went back to what they were doing. 'It was... UNLOCKED?! Oh my God, really? Really?!' Still mourning your misfortune- at being in this situation, at your totally awesome kick backfiring, at the fact it was unlocked in the first place- you got up and limped through the door; gently closing it when inside.

Rubbing your knee, you looked around the home; noting the dark. The blinds were drawn and the lights off; odd considering it wasn't even close to night time. Looking around, you spotted a streak of a dull blue light coming from a crack in a door off to your left. Turning that way, you walked down the hall that ran directly off the parlor. Slowly padding across the hardwood flooring, mindful of any squeaky boards that could alert your Japanese friend (Kiku might hide- you really didn't know why you were trying so hard to be quiet), you crept up to the wall and pressed an ear by the door.

Hearing murmurs and the occasional hum of thought, more questions popped up. 'What on Earth is he doing?' Silently breathing out a sigh of relief at the sight of the bedroom door being slightly open already. Honestly, if you had to open that, you'd give yourself such a panic attack.

Toeing off your shoes, you slid across the slick flooring in your socks and scooted towards the open door. Pushing the door opened, you peaked your head inside. With wide eyes and a dropped jaw, you saw the back of Kiku's head and the screen of a computer that showed a... girl?! Blinking in shock, you took a moment to look around the room he was in.

On all the walls were poster after poster of 2D and 3D girls; anime characters to J-Pop idols to Vocaloids. You didn't even want to see the bed, as disturbed as you were. Hearing a soft "Aha!" come from the only living thing in the room of merchandise, you turned your head back to your very, very odd friend.

Trying to conceal a smirk by forcing a neutral expression, a small one still peaked at the corner of your lips as you drawled, "Well, well, well~!"

Jerking back from the screen, Kiku whipped his head back; his messy, black hair flying everywhere as his horrified expression spoke volumes. Seeing you leaning against the door frame with your arms crossed, a small smirk teasing your lips into a bow, Kiku nearly had a heart attack. In all the people that just had to see his creepy display, it had to be you. (This is why he much preferred 2D girls to 3D: If you make a fool of yourself in front of your crush, no consequences!)

Letting a devilish twinkle enter your eyes, you couldn't hold back the great feeling of satisfaction at Kiku's terror-filled face. Walking into the room, you let a swagger into your stride and continued on speaking. "What do we have here?" Leaning over, arms still crossed, you gave your friend a mischievous smile.

Placing his palms together in the symbol of prayer, Kiku begged you, "Please never speak of this. I beg of you."

Quirking an eyebrow, you straightened your posture and wondered about the room. Tapping a finger against your lips, you let Kiku sweat for a few extra seconds (oh the blackmail is great with this one) before snapping your fingers and declaring, "I have but one request that needs fulfillment in order for your own request to be met!"

Kiku tumbled out of his gamer chair and stood before you in nothing but sweatpants and a white t-shirt. "Anything!"

Swaying over to him, you pulled on a misplaced hair before purring, "Oh, I was hoping you'd say that."

It wasn't until another day had passed that someone else tried to find out what happened to the introverted boy and his very extroverted friend, as she too went missing. However, it was obvious coming through the Honda family's front door what had happened if the scene before them was any indication. On the couch in the living room, an easy sight from the parlor, were the hunched forms of you and Kiku in an aggressive display of anything but sportsmanship as the other tried to best their friend in a furious game of Mario Kart.

True love is found in the strangest of places, so it seemed; and true hatred was brought forth as one pushes another off the Rainbow Road. (You still declared that cheating, even after you wiped the smug look off Kiku's face in a virtual tennis match the following day.)

=w= I can whoop Japan's ass at doing virtual tennis any day. Also, nice to know that I can be a complete badass~ Fufufu~ I like Otaku!Japan and it was a coincidence that I happened to be listening to a Vocaloid song while reading this. Rainbow road does sure kill friendships so much that it dies... (T^T) I almost died from laughter while reading this. Fufufu~ Japan never knew what hit him...
